
NSP Coatings Ltd offer steel grit (G17 grade) shot blasting for
items upto 8.5m x 4m x 4m to Sa 2.5 standard the removal
of paint, rust & scale on mild steel and iron components.
We also undertake light blasting for aluminium coatings
including castings and stainless steel prior to painting.
Our shot blast facilities are also available to local metal
finishers for sub-contract work.
Steel grit (G17 grade) is used generally as a preparation for powder but
also has a range of other applications:
Typical applications for shot blasting include gates, railings, motorbike parts through to large structural beams, channels and ironwork. Shot blasting is the ideal pretreatment for powder coating of both new components as well as previously coated items.
We carry out light blasting of aluminium including castings, lightly soiled components and coated aluminium parts.

Where stainless steel requires coating we can remove existing paint, contaminants and sharp edges.
